Seasons 1962-1963 and 1963-1964

The early sixties – one loss and one win in Varsity

We thank Jeremy Isenberg for sending the following short recap of his his two seasons with CUBbC. It would be great if players from these years could provide further material such as photos, team shets and Varsity scores.

I was a member of CUBBC 1962-64 and captain in 1963-64. We had good records both years, 16-5 or so, and 1 win and 1 loss in Varsity matches. Practices were at Fenners. Most members were, like me, American but our best player and captain 1964-65 David Last was/is British. I continued playing competitively in San Francisco area and New York City leagues until I was 61. It has been profoundly satisfying.
